You wouldn’t believe that in 2011 through 2014, I was in so much despair about my career and life.

No!, I wasn’t jobless nor broke. On the contrary, I was young, suave and rising fast in my job with the Federal Government of Nigeria. That life was good by many standards and many considered it rock star living. However, it wasn’t mine.

I was trapped in a job and life that I didn’t want and I was deluded to think that as I climbed higher in the organisation, my despair would go away with time. Unfortunately, my despair grew more with time.

Fortunately for me, I received guidance and inspiration that enabled me to transition into my preferred life which was starting an innovation consulting company in 2015. I describe this journey of building Lalaa Consulting as Living My Best Life because nothing compares to living life on your own terms.
